Who was August Prinzl? 

August Prinzl (7. 12. 1841 to 13. 11. 1900) came with his parents to Melk in the age of eight. After primary school he was educated as chemist in Graz. He worked in a sugar factory. He was said to be an odd person. He always wears a thermometer on his hat and he was seperating his things alphabetically. So is said, that he had coal and cookies in a case. He is known to be a prototyp of  a Melker.
